I did my full 30 hours of service learning at anythink library in Brighton CO. I cleaned and organized the shelfs, while i was helping there i made a friend. She was an older lady doing commutiy service for public intoxication, when she explained to me why she was in such  sorry state it surprized me. Her bird died that day and she was lonely in the huge world and got drunk and threaten a cop when they tried to stop her. She told me this story laughing and that laugh turn into a cry. So everyday after that she would always take me out of lunch or something after, looking back she probably enjoyed my company.
